A meeting was held on this day in 1922 and the Permanent Organization of the Oregon Home Protective League was effected. Heading the list of the League's priorities was the proposed campaign to abolish dancing in school buildings. Plans were made for a strenuous legal battle, to the Supreme Court if necessary.
