"At noon, our latitude was 44 degrees/33 minutes north, and our longitude was 235 degrees /25 minutes east and the land extended from north east half north to south east by south...at the northern extreme, the land formed a point, which I called Cape Foul Weather, from the very bad weather that we, soon after, met with."
