"A boy inventor has sprung up in Cottage Grove who bids fair some day to rank with the great inventors of the world. This boy is Ray E. Nelson, the son of Andrew Nelson, an electrician. "Ray is only 9 years and he has shown such marked ability in the electrical field that even his father, who has made electricity a life study, is astonished at the wonderful conceptions of his boy."
