"Every woolen mill in the State of Oregon is running full time, on orders, and several of them are running day and night. This is evidence that the wave of returning prosperity has reached the woolen manufacturing business.

During the past several years, most of them have been closed or only running part time. there are nine woolen mills in the state, and a tenth is under construction in Union County. The revival in the woolen business can be attributed to several causes, chief of which is the excellent quality of the goods purchased here."
