"Violinist Toscha Seidel and pianist Francesco Longo will perform at the dedication of the Oregonian's new radio station, KGW, which tonight will go on the air officially. Members of the new stations staff say that the two noted artists will be heard by listeners in 20 states and that the total number of listeners may reach the incredible figure of 100,000. The average audience is estimated to be about 50,000, but special interest in the playing of two great musicians, and Mr. Seidel in particular, has brought letters from as far north as British Columbia and as far east as the Dakotas."
