"Mr. Nathaniel Meyer has kindly furnished the figures showing the number of inches of water that has fallen during the recent violent storm. It commenced raining the 9th day of November and during the month the amount of water that fell was 7.37 inches, from the 1st to 16th of December, 5.87 inches of rain and 3 inches of snow. December 6th, 3 inches of water fell. Sunrise, thermometer stood at 55 degrees."
